our collaborations
The IFS Institute was particularly concerned to make sure that any online programs we created wouldn’t harm registrations for their in-person classes. Through our work together, we in fact helped increase the success of their live classes, while adding another line of business that was even more scalable. In creating these programs, we worked with many different presenters, many with no experience teaching in front of a camera, and coached them to deliver compelling course content.

Year-long Online Training
Our initial program with the Institute, the IFS Online Circle, was essentially a mini version of their Level 1 training. Two senior teachers joined founder Richard Schwartz to deliver six-month modules with monthly live calls in this year-long program. In its first launch, this program enrolled more than 1,000 students and attracted over 24,000 leads in the next three years.

Our next product was designed to support the people already in various IFS trainings — including the Online Circle. The IFS Continuity Program allowed participants access to Richard and offered different modules of special training that they did not get in their Levels 1-3 training. We surveyed students to develop appropriate specialized modules, such as working with diversity, working with couples, or neuroscience, and presented them in a way that was valuable no matter a student’s specialty. The program offers 4-month modules on a specific topic, with guest teachers for each topic. At its peak, the Continuity Program had more than 600 students enrolled.
Special Topics Online Courses
We also supported Richard to partner with other experts to create special one-time courses, such as a special webinar series on Meditation, Mindfulness, and Psychotherapy with meditation teacher Loch Kelly that enrolled 1000 students.
About IFS Institute
In 2000, marriage and family therapist Richard Schwartz founded The Center for Self Leadership (now the IFS Institute) as a training organization for the Internal Family Systems (IFS) model of psychotherapy. IFS is a transformative, evidence-based psychotherapy that helps people heal by accessing and loving their protective and wounded inner parts. IFS has become not only a school of family therapy but also a major form of psychotherapy in general, with a vast literature and training institutes throughout the world. Schwartz has written or co-written 5 books and over 50 articles and book chapters about IFS. The IFS model is used by psychotherapists, health practitioners, business people, and others around the world.
